Decorated with valuable famous paintings and venue of a prestigious international painting competition – “Menù per la Colomba” (1953) – Ristorante “La Colomba” is a locale full of history, where art and cuisine are one of the same. After World War II, this restaurant became a staple of Venice’s and Europe’s cultural rebirth, represented by the presence of the key players of modern art, including Picasso, Vedova, De Chirico and Morandi, who left behind sketches and original drawings, often used to pay for the bill!

With windows overlooking a pictoresque canal in Venice, right behind Piazza San Marco, the restaurant is perfect for families thanks to its special kids’ menu that includes pasta, friend cutlets, pizza, chicken with French fries and different types of sweets. The restaurant is located on the ground floor of the San Marco Palace hotel.
